Rates & Policies

Rates – subject to availability and seasonal variations.

Double / Twin Rooms	from  £95 to £250
Room only basis	from  £65 to £225
Triple Rooms	from  £180 to  £225
Room only basis	from  £135 to £180
Single Occupancy	from  £75 to £120
Room only basis	from  £65 to £95

The above rates are quoted in UK pounds sterling and are per room per night, including continental style breakfast and VAT. The rates shown reflect seasonal variations and are subject to availability. At certain times of year we may be able to offer special deals on midweek breaks and stays lasting several days – see our latest offers for details.

Minimum stay

At busy times of the year and almost always at weekends, we have a minimum stay policy. This will vary from 2 nights at the weekend (3 at Bank Holidays) and up to 7 days during conference periods and the busy summer months.

Arrival and departure

Our check in times are Monday to Friday 11.30am to 9.00pm, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays 11.30am to 2.00pm. When booking please confirm your estimated time of arrival.  Please note we DO NOT operate a 24 hour reception.
Although the normal check in time is after 11.30am we will be happy to look after your luggage until your room becomes available,

Breakfast

Our famous breakfast, freshly made to order, is served in our dining room between the following times: Monday–Friday 7.45–9.00am Saturday 9.00–10.00am Sunday and UK bank holidays 9.30–10.30am

Reservation policy

Once we have accepted your reservation, we require a valid credit card number (together with expiry date, name as it appears on the card and billing address) to guarantee your booking against cancellation.
PLEASE NOTE that the first night room rate of your booking will be charged to the card details provided.

Cancellation or amendment

If you have to cancel or amend your reservation once confirmed, then a cancellation charge will apply as follows:

• From the time of making your booking we will apply a cancellation or amendment fee of £25 for administration purposes.
• Between 30 and 2 days prior to arrival a charge of 100% of the first night room rate will apply.
• Within 48 hours of arrival the full amount for the full duration booked will be charged. Durations reduced during your stay will be billed at the full rate unless the room can be re-sold without loss.

We strongly advise that suitable travel insurance is purchased to cover these cancellation/amendment charges.

Cancellation or amendment by us

At The Cavalaire we want you to be delighted every time you book with us, however, all bookings are taken at the discretion of the management and subject to availability. Occasionally a telephone booking may be made before the details of an online booking reach us, rendering such booking as unavailable. Whilst we will make every effort to avoid this happening we cannot guarantee this and failure to do so will not constitute a breach of contract between us.

In the unlikely event that these circumstances arise we reserve the right to change or cancel your telephone or online booking. If this were to happen you may:

  

• Accept the changed arrangements as notified
• Make an alternative arrangement with us.
• Cancel your reservation and receive a full refund.

Smoking / Lost keys / Wear & tear

We are strictly a no smoking establishment – smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises.

On booking you accept full responsibility for all persons in your party. Any damage caused by smoking or any other means, other than general wear and tear will be billed against the credit/debit card details provided at the time of booking, there is a minimum charge of £100.  Keys lost or not returned on departure will be charged at £50 per set.

Please note that at busy times of the year and occasionally at weekends, we reserve the right to change these rates and policies without notice.
